Julie Savasky is an Austin-based graphic designer and industry veteran with extensive expertise in brand identity design, editorial design, print production, and publishing. After 22 years at international design consultancy Pentagram, Julie opened her own design practice to help clients build their brands with inspired visual storytelling that distills their unique point of view.
Julie studied fine art and psychology at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. An apprenticeship with an art therapist in Houston confirmed that while she loved working with people and creative problem-solving, she found her remove from the creative process itself ultimately unsatisfying. An internship followed at an art book publishing house in New York that bridged her interests and ignited her still-smoldering love affair with graphic design. Julie’s work has garnered awards and recognition from Graphis, Communication Arts, Society of Publication Designers, and Texas Institute of Letters among others.
