EDITORIAL DESIGN

Design and production of catalogue for an exhibition of impressionist and modern masterworks at the Dallas Museum of Art from the collection of Margaret McDermott.

Masterworks featured in the exhibition include paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Henry Moore.

The design team had access to the actual artworks which enabled them to photograph the vintage labels, shipping instructions, price tags and handwritten notes found on the back of the paintings. These rarely seen images are featured on the endsheets.

The front and back covers of the book feature the McDermott's pair of Monet's Water Lilies which hung on opposite walls of their living room for decades.
