We were hired by Southern Living Magazine's publishing arm, Oxmoor House, to design this cookbook by Jessica Dupuy that explores the flavors of Texas from each of its unique regions.

Each chapter opens with a brief history of the region setting up the varied recipes and cooking techniques found there.
Multiple small points of entry are achieved by scattering facts and bits of history including notes on cooking equipment, stories on local chefs and restaurants that have helped shape each of the regions.
Endpapers sport the Texas flag in all its glory.
A bonus chapter on Texas Shindigs (below) features menu suggestions for everything from Cinco de Mayo and July Fourth to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
