The Dallas Literary Festival—originally known as the SMU Literary Festival from 1975 through the 1990s—was relaunched in 2021 as a virtual event bringing leading literary voices to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, while attracting an audience extending far beyond the walls of SMU's Dallas Hall.

508 created a new brand identity to reflect the vibrant personality of the festival and designed a website to serve as the virtual hub for the online-only event.

The Transparent Wealth icon is made from two overlapping angled squares. The resulting shape creates a dimensional portal evocative of a window, transparency and perspective.
